Ralph Downs Elementary
We are the Ralph Downs Roadrunners. We will accept all people as special and unique, and honor each individual...
Our strengths and weaknesses create a common bond.
We accept the responsibility for our behavior. We will respect the learning and well being of others. In all that we do, we will make positive choices. We believe we have the power to be active learners. What we learn today will help make us leaders in the future. We accept the challenge to be the best we can be. We are Ralph Downs Roadrunners.
We make a difference, one day at a time.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR
2014-2015 Teacher of the Year!
I was born in Runcorn, England and am the youngest of three girls. I attended the Grange Comprehensive High School in Runcorn and represented the school in soccer, basketball, netball, hockey, tennis, badminton and rounders. PE was my favorite class and I was really lucky to have PE 6 hours per week with some amazing PE teachers; Miss Potter and Miss Jenkins, who really inspired me to want to become a PE teacher. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Trinity and All Saints College University of Leeds graduating with a 2:1 joint honors degree in Sport, Health & Leisure and Media. I also played Basketball at college and was a regional league champion. After graduation I worked in the sport and health industry for a couple of years before coming to the USA in 2009. I attended the University of Central Oklahoma where I graduated with a Masters degree in Education. I came to Ralph downs in 2011 and I love being a Roadrunner. On a personal note, I am married with an 18 month old son, Hayes, and an 18 year old step son, Jacob. I love soccer and I have been an avid Liverpool fan since forever. I love camping, hiking, gardening and spend most of my free time outside. My new challenge for 2015 is to complete the Redman Triathlon.
